First Choice Skips offers a range of mini and midi skip sizes to suit all requirements. Our range includes a 2-tonne mini skip (from £110), a 3-tonne mini skip (from £130), and a 4-tonne mini skip (from £170). All skips are well maintained and available for both short and long term hire.

Our 2-tonne mini skip measures approximately 2.5ft high, 6ft long, and 3ft wide and is ideal for small domestic clear-outs. Our 3-tonne skip measures approximately 3ft high, 6ft long, and 4ft wide, suitable for medium jobs. Our 4-tonne skip measures approximately 3ft high, 7.5ft long, and 5.5ft wide, making it ideal for larger domestic or light commercial projects.

Our skips can accept a wide range of general waste including household rubbish, garden waste, building and construction waste, site clearance materials, and general commercial waste. If you are unsure whether a particular type of waste can be placed in your skip, please give us a call and we will be happy to advise.

Yes. First Choice Skips operates a 7-day service, meaning we can deliver and collect skips throughout the week including weekends. One of our customers received a skip delivered just 30 minutes after calling at 12pm on a Sunday. We understand that waste removal needs do not always follow a Monday to Friday schedule.

In many cases we can deliver a skip the same day, or the next day depending on the time you place your order. If you require a road permit for your skip, please allow 24 hours notice so we can arrange the necessary council permission on your behalf.

Yes. If your skip needs to be placed on a public road rather than private land, a skip hire council permit is required by law. First Choice Skips can arrange this permission from the local authority on your behalf when you hire the skip. Please let us know at the time of booking and allow at least 24 hours for the permit to be arranged.

Placing your skip on private land such as a driveway is the easiest option as it does not require a permit and we can simply deliver the skip directly. If private land is not available and the skip needs to go on a public road, we can apply for the necessary council permit on your behalf. Just let us know when you book.

At present, all payments are by cash or cheque. Payment is normally made at the time your skip is delivered. If you have any questions about payment, please speak to our team when you place your order and we will be happy to assist.
